You can have great pleasure in tasting our local specialities such as: stockfish, aligot (a traditional savoury dish made of potatoes, cheese and wine from the Aveyron), «farçous» (a local dish) as well as the more classic or original dishes.
The traditional “plat du jour” (menu of the day) served at lunchtime is plentiful and inexpensive.
From June to September some of the restaurants take part in the “Aveyron dans votre Assiette” (literally, taste the Aveyron in your plate) which is an advertising campaign organised by the department (ask for the brochure).
Its aim is to encourage and promote the local Aveyronaise quality gastronomy for holiday makers.
