The brochure “Les Parcours du Roman » .
Three of Vallon’s churches which are classified as historical buildings, have a place of honour:
Saint Blaise at Clairvaux, an edifice in sandstone built by the monks from Conques,
Saint-Paul at Salles-la-Source has a magnificent Roman church from the 12th century.
Saint Austremoine in the commune of Salles-la-Source has remarkable furniture among which is a winegrower’s cross.
Visits of churchs and chapels are available in the summer programme of accompanied hiking tours. The “Prieuré du Sauvage” is today the beneficiary of a great restoration scheme and is from time to time used as a place for cultural activities.
